Avengers VS X-Men
The battle you've always wanted is finally here. March's Marvel Snap's sizzle features the war between the Avengers and X-Men about the fate of the Phoenix Force that has returned. Through a combination of animated slow-motion battle shots, you'll find a very recognizable cast of characters fighting each other, supported by a beautiful custom rendition of Ave Maria. Can you recognize all of them?
We love producing all our Marvel Snap sizzles, however, due to the number of characters we all love this one in particular was special.
We started with a rough animated animatic to lock in the shot composition, framing, and the pacing this sizzle’s story required.
The slow-motion fights were inspired by the fight scene in Good Will Hunting, and allowed us to show dynamic action while getting a good look at our characters and without making it too complex for the time that’s available to produce these monthly sizzles.
